Checking Your Fingerprint Transmission Status
Applicants:
* Please allow a minimum of 7 days before making a status inquiry.
* First check with the agency that requested the background review. The DOJ sends results directly to them.
* Call the 24-hour DOJ Automated Telephone Service: (916)-227-4557. You will need your date of birth and the ATI number on your Live Scan form.

Applicant Agencies:
The DOJ asks that Applicant Agencies file an Applicant Fingerprint Transaction Follow-up Request form to them via fax at (916) 227-2000, so that they may track a missing Applicant record.
Please be advised that this form is not to be used for updating an Agency's current criminal history information or any other record keeping purpose.
